Biafra... Arewa... Oodua... To whom it's concerned!
Biafra... Arewa... Oodua... ...
Wow!...
What an interesting time to be alive!
Sincerely, I can't be more grateful to be born in these times.
It would have been boring been born in a rather 'perfect' nation or times.
If we ask the right questions, and employ ourselves to this call to duty for our nation, we would have played the role divinity originally entrusted to humans to live above mere mortals, with just flesh, blood and bones.
As young people, well meaning citizens and custodians of our father land, no matter how much we blame the leaders before us of their various unpopular conducts which corruption is top on the list, we must give credence to them for their fight for the independence of Nigeria from our colonial masters. Even though they have missed it along the way, and have become the colonial masters of our own generation.
But what is undisputed is that they did confront the arch evil of their time, we must also now confront the evil of our time.
Every generation has a duty to drive the wheel of progress forward.
And every special generation must go beyond confronting the evil of their time, but must project into the future and work not only for their own generation, but make the lives of posterity better. And we are that special generation, so our generation and that of posterity count on us to take our place in the affairs of our nation Nigeria. We can not, and must not pass the baton without alienating the evil that confront our common existence.
So I call on all occupants of this country Nigeria.
From every region to every state, from every group to every sect, and from every city to every town, from every village to every hamlet, from every tribe to every tongue, from every family to every home.
This is the time to unleash your potentials.
This is the time to look inward with an unwavering determination, to cultivate our potentials towards our collective emancipation and greatness.
Now is the time to confront our collective arch enemy, and stand up for what we believe and dream of as a nation.
Trust me, this is our golden opportunity to make real the benefits of democracy, and to actualize the lofty dreams of our widest imaginations.
Now is the time to meet with commensurate action the ideas and principles of greatness we so admire.
But before we align with progress and our collective emancipation and greatness, we must embrace and drink from the cup of self emancipation. We must rise above regional and tribal prejudice. We must rise above sentiments that hinders our collective vision. We must detached from personal interest to seek steadfastly our collective interest.
Thank God for times like this, it calls for celebration...
Celebration of the release of our infinite power as God's representative on earth.
God bless Nigeria.
